Organizing folders and media files in your library

Keeping an overview about your files in your library can be difficult. Therefore we created a folder system, which can simplify the work with a bunch of media files.

In order to show you how messy a library can look like I have uploaded a lot of files into my Studio and this is how it looks like.

If you imagine that you have thousand of images, videos and audio files in your library it will be really difficult to find the desired and needed file. To organize your files we are going to create folders and fill them with files. Creating a folder is really simple. All you have to do is to click on the little folder icon.

The studio will create a new folder for you. As you can see in the image below the folder is created with a default name “new folder1”. To rename the folder please make a double click and as soon as the folder is selected and marked you can rename it by using your keyboard.

The next thing we want to do is to rename the folder. Therefore you double click the folder. As soon as the folder is selected you can rename the folder by using the keys on your keyboard.

Once the is renamed you can simply drag and drop your files into the folder.

As soon as the files are placed in the right folder you can close and open them when needed.
