How to re-broadcast to other CDNs and Streaming Servers

With RTMP-Re-Broadcasting you are able to stream your show to any RTMP capable live-stream-provider, server or service.  Simply activate "RTMP-Re-Broadcasting" in your channel settings and insert the "Streaming URL" and "Stream Name". Now any live show you produce in this channel will be pushed to the entered streaming service.

This step by step will show you how to send a stream from make.tv to other CDN's and streaming providers.

1. make.tv allows you to rebroadcast your live Show to other CDNs and streaming servers. These CDNs and other streaming servers must be able to receive a stream via RTMP. Therefore they will provide you a RTMP URL and in some cases a stream name.

2. Once you have these information all you have to do is to tell make.tv where to send the stream. Please go into your "Channel settings" and open the tab Output.

3. Please insert following information:

RTMPURL: This is the destination where make.tv will send its signal. This URL will be provided from your CDN and/or streaming server.

Stream Name: Many CDNs have mandatory stream names. In this case your CDN or stream server will provide you this information.

Username: This is optional, but some CDNs and streaming servers will have a username/password restriction.

Password: This is optional, but some CDNs and streaming servers will have a username/password restriction.
